So let's start the year with a group cleaning "challenge"! Now it's not a competition, but for fun! We will start off with generic "zone" cleaning for your home. Then tackle specific rooms, outside areas, and other things as appropriate - like your mind and relationships. Organization will also be included as appropriate. I think I will post a monthly checklist, but you can save them and use them whenever you wish of course. I don't want this to be a burden on top of your regular cleaning and other life duties, but a resource for ideas and tips and encouragement!
When I was little, I had a book about cleaning my room. Sounds fun right? However it made sense and had good advice that I still use. So we are going to follow some of that and start UP HIGH!
So for the home in general, that will be the ceiling. Thanks to gravity, any excess dirt will fall down. SO look up my friends and let's clean your ceiling fans, light fixtures, ceiling, mouldings, vents, and air. Here is your checklist for January.
Here are some links for some great tips:
I have gotten started, so this is my living room ceiling fan (in my RV). It's been about 4-6 weeks since I cleaned it...and gross! You can tell I've had the door open more often, but I did use the pillowcase method (from the link below) and additional work with my extended reach Swiffer duster...and voila - all clean in about 5 min!
