PDQ Party Appetizer

With the holidays around the corner - I have a quick and easy appetizer or snack for you. It is also portable and shareable in case you are having alternative holiday gatherings this year. What is this magical appetizer/snack? Cheese balls!

Now this is not the ones that they have at the big-box stores, but homemade, full of flavor, and SO easy! The version I am sharing today is ham and onion. This flavor combo was presented to me by my sister-in-law, Christy, a few years ago, but I simplified it a tad. Once you make one (or read the recipe), you can create a whole variety that go with the flavor profile for different parties - different meats and seasonings, but same basic ratio.

I am experimenting with a seafood recipe also, but it's not quite to the appropriate level of deliciousness yet.

I have also packaged this up and used it for easy snacks or even lunch at work, so I hope you try this one or a version of it. I'd love to hear about it!
