What is the QuIP Challenge?

First off, a QuIP is a Quilt In Progress otherwise called UnFinished Object, Work In Progress, or other cute names. I purposefully re-named them for greater focus which will lead to more progress. This challenge is about approaching unfinished projects with purpose and small do-able steps without shame, guilt, or overwhelm. Instead, we are focusing on:

• Sorting these projects with intention

• Choosing what still sparks joy

• Having a clear path to completion

• Celebrating progress (not perfection)

  
  

To increase the structure and fun factor I have developed tools like a QuIP Sorting Guide, a Progress Tracker, and mini-challenges you can join any time. Whether you have 2 QuIPs or 32, this challenge will help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and more quilty friends! (AND you can use it for more than just quilts!)

Why Finishing QuIPs Matters

Hi - my name is Tara and the last time I joined a WIP Challenge it was 2021. And I had 72 WIPs! Now I have removed about 20 of those, but there are a

few replacements - haha! I tell you this so you know there is ZERO judgement here and plenty of folks in the same boat, and I like to start new projects!

If you have:

• overflowing project totes

• half-cut projects

• projects waiting for those last few steps

• projects you don't like anymore

• projects that got too difficult

I am here to help! This challenge is to designed with intention to give you quick wins for motivation, quilty friends for assistance and encouragement, and to reconnect to the joy that drew you to these projects. So when you start a new project, remember there is NO guilt - all good things come to those who wait (or take their time)
