Good morning!
Have I mentioned that I love the holidays? I love the spirit that fills everyone during this time of year, and I try to promote it all year long. This year it seems like I'm not the only one ready to get into the holidays.
So in the spirit of giving - have a fun, free quilt pattern - My Cup Runneth Over!
I just LOVE it - especially in this beautiful Fall fabric! I used Give Thanks by Sandy Gervais for Riley Blake. But it looks really great in any holiday fabrics or color palette (great scrap-buster). This quilt uses 5-inch squares and 2.5-inch strips (but yardage/FQ is also given) and a 5-inch tumbler template.
I decided to give you the whole pattern up front instead of a quilt-along since it is a busy time of year, and time is short. It is quick and easy to put together if you are confident beginner or experienced quilter. Make quick gifts or a holiday throw for yourself in just a few days. You can download it here (updated 11/24):
I will be sharing tips and clips (pictures and/or videos) for additional instruction and clarification. If you don't have a tumbler template, I will be uploading a traceable copy with my tips. So you can even make this for your very first quilt!
I hope you feel, as I do, that even with all the craziness of late - there is much to be grateful for in your life.
Have a great day & happy making! - Tara
